Made in Sanjo, Niigata this knives is very reasonable priced with very good fit and finish and wide bevel grind that is easier to thin and sharpen your knife without messing up the finish, top of the blade is finished with parallel lines witch is also easier for polish or wiping your knife.
Kaeru is also amazing for beginners with Japanese kitchen knives it will introduce higher hardness then western knives but still much easier to maintain and very chip resistant then full Carbon knives !
