Rare Stones
Aizu is a mid-range natural stone similar to Aoto at approximately 3k to 5k grit .I was a bit skeptical about it at first because I had never heard of one.
But, the results were great. I am actually in love with this stone now!!!! This is not a Kyoto stone, but one from Northern Japan. It was traditionally mined during the summer and then in winter the large stones were cut into smaller useable pieces in house.

Little about Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura
They are from Junmikawashiro minein Aichi prefecture:
There are 4 stratasfrom finest to coarsestKoma, Mejiro, Tenjyou, Botanコマ ( 細 ) 、目白 ( めじろ ), 天上 ( てんじょう ) 、ボタン、And 4 grades (colours)
Superior high grade, High grade, Superior selected grade, Superior grade特級上、特級、別上、上級
Koma is most fine in grit but Botan, Tenjyou and Mejiri is fine too and its not much difference for knife sharpening

Kasumi on Hard Jnats
Kasumi on hard Jnats is quite difficult to make but possible. You can use Hard Jants for micro-bevel or ura on Yanagi and any single beveled knives, but to make nice kasumi finish is quite difficult. The finish on Harder Jnats will be more finer and more mirror, but still with that nice distinction between hard and soft steel Some super hard stones will scratch your soft steel on knives and ruin your finish, but not all and it also depends on your techniques.
