Payment

We accept PayPal and all major credit cards. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card — at the PayPal checkout choose "Don't have a PayPal account" and enter your card details directly.

For special payment arrangements please contact me before placing your order.

Pricing & VAT

All prices on the site are in DKK (Danish Krone). Currency conversions shown are approximate and updated monthly — the exact amount you pay is determined by PayPal's live exchange rate at the time of payment.

EU customers: VAT is charged at the rate of your own country — not Danish VAT. This is in accordance with EU VAT regulations that came into effect July 2021. German customers pay 19% German VAT, French customers pay 20% French VAT, Italian customers pay 22% Italian VAT, and so on. The correct rate is applied automatically at checkout based on your delivery address.

Denmark: 25% Danish VAT is included in all prices.

Non-EU customers: VAT is removed at checkout. You will see the ex-VAT price when you add items to the cart.

US customers: All applicable tariffs and import taxes are included in the price and prepaid at checkout. Orders ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) via DHL Express — no surprise fees on delivery.

Shipping

We ship worldwide using DHL Express. This is the fastest and most reliable shipping available and we use it exclusively.

Shipping cost for orders under 1500 DKK is calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.

Estimated delivery times from Denmark:

• USA (New York area): approx. 2 days
• USA (other): approx. 3 days
• EU: approx. 2 days
• Rest of world: approx. 3–5 days

When paying via PayPal, orders are shipped only to the address on file in your PayPal account. All packages are shipped from Denmark.

Please include your phone number in your order — DHL requires it for delivery.

We do not ship during major public holidays.

Dispatch Times

We ship packages several times per week. All orders are dispatched within 7 business days of payment. In most cases it is much faster. If you need your order urgently please contact me before placing it.

Returns

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of the original delivery date.
• Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. For natural stones: you may test the stone on a knife or razor, but the stone must not be damaged and any kanji stamps must not be erased or altered.
• Items returned in damaged condition will not be accepted or credited.
• The customer pays return shipping. Please use a tracked shipping service.
• A 10% restocking fee applies to all returned items.
• Returns are not accepted without proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

Placing an order indicates acceptance of this return policy.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or with items missing, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. Claims made after 48 hours cannot be accepted.

For damage caused during transit by the carrier, please keep all original packaging and packing materials intact. DHL may need to inspect them as part of a damage claim.

Right of Withdrawal (Fortrydelsesret)

As a consumer in the EU you have the right to withdraw from any purchase made on this website within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. This is your legal right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

Your message must clearly state that you wish to withdraw from your purchase and include your order number. You do not need a specific form — a simple email is sufficient.

Returning the item

After notifying us, you must return the item within 14 days. The item must be in its original condition. For natural stones: you may test the stone on a knife or razor, but the stone must not be damaged and any kanji stamps must not be erased or altered. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.

Refund

Once we have received the returned item and confirmed its condition, we will refund the full purchase price including the original outbound shipping cost. We will process the refund using the same payment method you used for the original purchase. The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
