For Tools

These are the natural stones I have tested on tools — chisels, plane blades and other woodworking steel. For tools you usually want a hard stone with a clean flat surface and no lines, and that is what I put in here.

Each stone has its own description with relative hardness and best use. If there are toxic lines or inclusions I write it. If nothing is written, there are none.

Naguras and flattening stones are in Finger Stones and Naguras. If you are not sure which stone fits your tools, email me before you buy.
