Even with its thickness grind is amazing and have minimum wedging as it go very thin to the edge !

Wakui Workhorse is made with Kato workhorse in mind with a same specs as first Kato prototype I first got :) 

because of the thickness and of the specs of the knife they are all hand laminated 

All knives JNS cary is handmade and made one by one, so they can vary in size and thickness. Unevenness in finish can occur.
