165mm santoku, 50mm tall at the heel, 135 grams. Short, tall and light. Short means easy to control, tall means your knuckles never touch the board. If a 210mm gyuto feels like too much knife, start here.
Ookami is Tadafusa's hammered line. The tsuchime (hammered) face helps food fall off the blade instead of sticking, and the spine is left thick at the handle: real Sanjo workhorse geometry, a knife built to be used hard every day, not babied.
The core is laminated SLD, semi-stainless: long edge life and easy to live with, no worry about rust. D-shape ho wood handle.
All knives JNS carry are handmade, one by one. Size and thickness can vary a little, and small marks in the finish can happen. This is normal for a handmade knife.
